Thoughts on concepts

Korean history

Looking at the view of Banff from the Norquay lookout made me think about the idea of different "flavors" to the same underlying concept (in this case the concept being a long-term settlement in a remote mountain setting). It would be really cool to see what different types of towns would have looked like in different eras. May trying using ChatGPT to generate some interesting ones.

This also made me think more about better understanding Korean history, and how the modern Korean state is still pretty strong passed down from a much more ancient culture (vs. how the US, in a sense, is a porting of a lot of the continental social science philosophies to a new landmass). It's kind of crazy to imagine that, and makes me want to look more into the "Korean" elements of culture.
